Mary Katherine Cohen, a lifelong Duluthian, is an active member of the Twin Ports' Communities, participating in local business and community groups, as well as local music and theater projects.

She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law. Ms. Cohen served as a law clerk for the Honorable David P. Sullivan of the Sixth Judicial District in Duluth.
